Mondial Relay Courrier Hub

Tremblay-en-France, France

INNOVATING BY USING TIMBER IN CONSTRUCTION

BARJANE has developed the new north Ile-de-France branch of Mondial Relay.

The project is unique in that it uses timber in the building frame, double-façade cladding, bicycle shelter and for sunbreakers. The use of timber allows the project to blend into the wider landscape and provide a warm visual aesthetic to site users. The facility will provide a service directly dedicated to private individuals for their parcels and is  strategically located halfway between a logistics courier service and a local agency. Ultimately, the site is expected to create more than 100 jobs.
