We developed Decathlon’s first UK Distribution Centre on the Brackmills Industrial Estate in Northampton. From this 348,750 sq ft building, built in two phases (257,257 sq ft in 2018 and 91,493 sq ft extension in 2022), Decathlon serves its 44 UK stores and all its e-commerce activities. Certified as BREEAM Very Good, this building houses 350 employees in a unique working environment: gym, multi-sports fields, designer offices, and nearby services.
Decathlon is a leading international sports goods retailer and is present in 70 countries with 1,700 shops and 100,000 employees. Decathlon’s mission is to make the enjoyment and benefits of sports accessible to as many people as possible. The company’s logistics platform in Northampton is designed to handle more than 3,000 daily online orders and to supply the brand’s UK stores with 55,000 stock items.
