Piloting Committee of the Parc des Aiguilles project in the presence of the Sub-Prefect of Istres

Mr. Régis Passerieux, Sub-Prefect of Istres, chaired today, Wednesday, September 29, the piloting committee of the Parc des Aiguilles project in the town hall of Ensuès-la-Redonne in the presence of the mayor of the municipality, Mr. Michel Illac, the mayor of Châteauneuf-les-Martigues, Mr. Rolland Mouren and the 3rd deputy mayor of the town hall of Gignac-la-Nerthe, Mr. René Tassy representing the mayor, Mr. Christian Amiracy. Also present were representatives of the Metropolis of Aix-Marseille-Provence, the DDTM (Departmental Directorate of Territories and the Sea), the Departmental Council 13, the ADEME (Agency for the Environment and Energy Management), the Istres Gendarmerie Company, the Vitrolles Marignane police station, Pole Emploi, the Mission locale pour l’Emploi Est Etang de Berre, and the PLIE (Plan local pour l’Insertion et l’Emploi).

On this occasion, the BARJANE teams were able to present the progress of the development and depollution work on the site, prior to the launch of the first buildings. A particular focus was placed on employment, with the preparation of future recruitments and the training to be put in place, to anticipate the arrival of the first two companies, Decathlon and Action, and also to support the construction companies that will be working on the sites

The COPIL ended with a visit to the site, focusing on the clean-up work carried out by Antea Group and Seché Environnement under the supervision of ADEME.
