BARJANE’s Foundation welcomed children from Jean-Jaurès elementary school in Les Arcs-sur-Argens to introduce them to the Breguières Park biodiversity trail: a day of animations to raise children’s awareness about biodiversity and the importance of preserving nature.
The class took part in workshops to discover the Park’s insects and birds life cycle, their habitats and their role in biodiversity.
New: the educational apiary. Dressed in beekeeper outfits, the pupils were able to observe the Park’s hives very closely. Thus, they learnt everything about bees, thanks to Pierre Rouvier, the apiarist partner of BARJANE.
