On October, 11th 2017, BARJANE signed the new Charter for Energy and Environmental Efficiency of Public and Private Tertiary Buildings with the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition in France.

This updated version of the charter, published by the Sustainable Building Plan, places an emphasis on energy savings, renewable energy and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions with the aim of carbon-neutrality by 2050.

Having signed the original charter in 2013 and with more than fifteen solar power plants due to operate in the near future, BARJANE remains committed to renewables and also to decrease the energy consumption of their buildings whilst improving the welfare of their users.
