The BARJANE Foundation was created in 2017 to support initiatives run within the community, with ethics and social responsibility commitments
BARJANE Corporate Foundation was created in 2017 to support initiatives run within the community, with ethics and social responsibility commitments in line with its own. To date BARJANE Corporate Foundation has proudly supported a range of activities including the funding of a female football team, the annual ‘Writers in Provence’ event, as well as a litter picking event in Fuveau, France.
The ambition is to increase the overall commitments that BARJANE has made in the past and to structure this societal commitment for the long term. The activities of the Foundation are in line with the ethical values of the team and the CSR commitments of the group.
The Foundation will serve civic projects centred around two big themes valued by BARJANE: Nature and the City.

Biodiversity trails
Fun and educational trails are developed on BARJANE sites. These routes provide various habitats for species that are native to the site (birds, insects etc). The trails preserve nature by encouraging learning and increasing awareness amongst visitors to the site.
The trails are a place of experimentation, that can be visited by local schools in order to increase awareness and to promote protection of the species that live around us.

The Bréguières cross-country run
Every year a cross-country run is organised at Parc des Bréguières in the Var region.
This is a friendly opportunity for the participants and the Parc occupiers to support local charities by donating all benefits collected at the event.
