A new BARJANE photovoltaic power plant will light up the Île-de-France

At the beginning of June BARJANE was amongst the winning projects of the tender for a high power solar installation, launched by the Energy Regulation Commission.

BARJANE will thus develop a solar power plant on the roof of its new logistics building located in the Parc de la Butte aux Bergers in Louvres (95). With this 3.5 MWp solar power plant, equivalent to the annual electricity consumption of 1,224 inhabitants, BARJANE will have a total of 17 solar power plants in France, including 2 in the Île-de-France region. This will make BARJANE the leading French developer of photovoltaic power plants on the roof of logistics buildings.

This plant is in line with the strong environmental commitments common to all stakeholders in the planning and development of the Butte aux Bergers Business Park: Grand Paris Aménagement, the Roissy Pays de France Agglomeration Community and its economic development agency Roissy Dev, and the City of Louvres.

A great achievement and one which once again confirms that photovoltaic projects in the Paris region are possible.
